From a tiny plot in Chavignol, grown on steep caillotes soil, Rue de Vaux is floral, rich and precise. These vines, up to 60 years old, are leased to Vincent by the legendary Anne Vatan—a mantle he wears with joyful seriousness. Aged 12 months in demi-muid, then 12 months in stainless steel.
