2019 Alión came from a dry, warm vintage yielding powerful, concentrated, juicy wines—comparable to 2015. Maceration was shortened and concrete used for part of élevage to reduce oak influence. At 15% ABV, with 4.4g acidity and pH 3.88, it's ripe and fruit-driven with slightly dusty tannins. ~257k bottles and 7k magnums produced; bottled June 2021
