Created by Count Loredan and beloved by heads of state in 1960s Venice, Capo di Stato is sourced partly from a vineyard planted in 1946 in Venegazzù, 40km north of Venice. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec from old clones, it offers intense aromas of soft fruits and spices, sweet tannins and infinite silkiness. 2017 marked its 50th anniversary.
