Chambolle-Musigny shows bright ruby with brilliant reflections. Violets and small red berries on the nose, rich and complex. Silk and lace on the palate — delicate yet full-bodied, with soft tannins and a solid, lasting structure. A perfect match with Bresse capon, whose subtle texture is beautifully complemented by the silky, dense tannins. The name derives from "Campus Ebolliens" — boiling field — describing the lively river after thunderstorms.
