Kinsman Eades, Rhadamanthus, Diamond Mountain, Napa Valley, California, 2021 (750ml)

CI$350.00
98 Points Vinous, Antonio Galloni - The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Rhadamanthus Diamond Mountain District has really come on strong over the last year. A vertical, explosive wine, the 2021 offers up copious dark fruit, leather, incense, crushed rocks and gravel. There's tons of Diamond Mountain savory and mineral energy. Readers will have to be patient, as the 2021 is an infant. Superb.

Description

Kinsman Eades is one of the great recent success stories in Napa Valley. It was not that long ago that Nigel and Shae Kinsman had to sell some of their wines in barrel to make ends meet as they bootstrapped their new venture.

Today, the range continues to expand with a number of wines from elite sites across the valley. The 202ls include new Cabernets from Ecotone, Vine Hill Ranch and a second Oakville vineyard very close to Vine Hill Ranch that can't be disclosed at the moment. There is also a new white and a more accessible Cabernet Sauvignon bottling that is meant to be an entry point to the top selections. The wines are rich, layered and super-expressive of site. This is about as good as it gets.
