Il Chiuso takes its name from the farm where Pinot Nero, planted in 1984 with Morey-Saint-Denis clones from Burgundy, grows in predominantly chalky soil at roughly 500 metres above sea level. The result is a sublimely elegant, exquisitely balanced wine with fruity overtones and plush tannins.
